We are looking for harvest staff!!

We are now looking to recruit staff for our upcoming harvest season (December through to March). Traditionally backpackers are our main source of workers, but we are looking for job seekers from all avenues!

Are you a student looking for a summer job? The cherry harvest is perfect timing to earn and save money for your studies.

All our seasonal jobs require no previous experience so if you are hardworking, great in a team environment, and are punctual - our seasonal jobs could be ideal for you!

We are centrally located just out of Clyde, 10 minutes from Alexandra and within an hours drive from both Queenstown and Wanaka.

From November to December (applications now open for the coming season)

Fruit thinning happens from mid-late November for several weeks. We systematically go through the nectarines and peaches thinning the fruit which encourages the remaining fruit to grow bigger. This leads into the cherry harvest.

The Cherry Season kicks off around the second week of December and runs for approximately 5 weeks. We require seasonal workers for picking and the packhouse. Cherry picking is incentivised and paid per bucket of Cherries.

If you are punctual, hardworking and can work in a fast-paced team environment, this is the role for you! Cherry packing requires no prior experience.

Stonefruit-harvest

Stonefruit Harvest

From January onwards

Harvesting our stonefruit is a more physical role as you need to be able to get up to the tops of the trees. If you like the sound of gaining fitness and enjoy the outdoors. this could be the one for you! No prior experience needed, you just need to be hardworking, physically able, and punctual to thrive in this role.

Thinning and packhouse is paid per hour $$21.20 with holiday pay above this.

Cherry picking is incentivised and paid per bucket of Cherries.

Accomodation – We have spaces for self-contained Campervans or a tent. There are limited beds available. Please enquire.
